The most prestigious horse races of Russia and an international show jumping tournament were held in Tatarstan
Today, the III international show jumping tournament, dedicated to the Republic Day, was held in the arena of the Kazan equestrian sports complex. The prestigious horse races of the country - for the prize of the President of the Russian Federation - were also held on the territory of the Kazan hippodrome. The competitions were attended by Rais of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Olga Gatagova, Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov, as well as President of the Equestrian Federation of the Russian Federation Marina Sechina.
160 horses from 12 regions of Russia and a number of neighboring countries took part in the international show jumping competitions. The tournament was organized with the support of the Equestrian Federation of Russia, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan and Gazprom SPG-Technologies LLC. Darya Samokhina won the Grand Prix 150 cm of the III Raisa Prize of the Republic of Tatarstan in show jumping. The winners of the competition were awarded by Rustam Minnikhanov and the President of the Equestrian Federation of the Russian Federation Marina Sechina.
This year, about 190 horses from 28 regions of Russia took part in the competition. The competition was held in 14 nominations, some of which were held for the first time at the Kazan Hippodrome. The total prize fund was 38 million rubles.
An extensive entertainment program was prepared for adults and children. Young visitors were able to ride horses and ponies, take part in various master classes. They also participated in a variety of interactive attractions. Adults could enjoy a fair of national artisans and farm products of the Republic of Tatarstan.
In the first race of Tatar horses for the Argamak Prize at a distance of 1800 meters, Akhmed Usmanov won on the stallion Bars RT.
The stallions Napusk, Liner and Lincoln, the owner from the Vologda Region, won the Russian Troika Prize at a distance of 1600 meters.
Rail Gabdrashitov on the horse Manuscript 52 had no equal in the Orlov Trotter Horse Breeding Prize at a distance of 2400 meters.
In the race for the Cup of the First President of the Republic of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev, Karsaviy (jockey Mirbek Mamurov) finished first.
Andrey Vilkin on the stallion Bloomfield 7 won the race for the Prize of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation at a distance of 1600 meters.
Some of the strongest horses appeared in the race for the Rais Prize of the Republic of Tatarstan. They competed at a distance of 2400 m. In this race, the horse Instructor (jockey Myrzabek Kappushev) finished first.
There were also races for the UAE President's Prize. The winner at a distance of 1800 m was the thoroughbred Arabian horse Taufik under the saddle of Khamazat Ulubaev.
At the most anticipated races for the Prize of the President of the Russian Federation, there were no equals to the jockey Mirbek Marov on the horse Tep Lider. This year, Tep Lider set a new record for the entire history of the race.
In parallel with the races, there were performances by Tatar pop stars - Rayaz Fasyikhov, Gulnaz Isaeva and the state chamber choir of the Republic of Tatarstan under the direction of the People's Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan Milyausha Tamindarova.
