The 29th All-Russian competition for the best in the profession among machine milking operators in 2025 was held in the Vladimir Region. The competition was held among 58 specialists from 49 entities based on the farm of AO Shikhobalovo in the Yuryev-Polsky District and at the Vladimir Agricultural College of the Suzdal District.
The absolute champion of the competition was Maria Zubova from the Vologda Region. She received the keys to a car — the main prize of the competition.
In the nomination "Women with work experience in the profession from 8 to 17 years", 3rd place was taken by Ruzilya Latypova from the Republic of Tatarstan. She was awarded a certificate for 150 thousand rubles.
The contestants were assessed at four stages: testing of professional knowledge; assessment of practical skills in disassembling and assembling the milking machine; assessment of the sanitary training of the participant and preparation of milking equipment for work, milking cows.
Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Maxim Borovoy emphasized that agriculture is the basis of not only the economy, but also the food security of our country in general. "The dairy industry is the pillar of agriculture, because it is not only milk, but also meat. And in general, it is a rural way of life, which is traditional for our country. Our livestock industry is actively developing," he said.
Vladimir Region Governor Alexander Avdeev noted that thanks to a well-thought-out agricultural policy, agriculture is developing, processing plants are being built. "But no matter how perfect the technology is, its heart and soul is a person. I wish all the participants of the competition confidence in their abilities, new acquaintances and a useful exchange of experience. May the strongest win, and may luck smile on everyone," he noted.
Also during the plenary session of the competition, issues of developing modern machine milking and increasing the investment attractiveness of dairy farming were discussed.
