25 August 2025, Monday

At the end of last week, the Beekeeping Festival "Beekeeping 2025" was held in the Shikshinsky rural settlement of the Sabinsky municipal district. This event has been held for the 6th time and its scale is only increasing every year. The opening of the festival was attended by the head of the Department of Agriculture and Food in the Sabinsky municipal district Gafur Khasanshin, the head of the Shikshinsky rural settlement Radik Khairtdinov, the head of the beekeeping and aquaculture sector of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan Dinard Gataullin, the head of Igenche LLC Almaz Zaripov.

The festival brought together beekeepers, lovers of honey, beekeeping products of Tatarstan and other regions of Russia. Beekeepers came from the Republic of Bashkortostan, the Orenburg region, and various regions of the republic. The festive program was extensive and eventful this year. A committee for tasting honey and bee products was organized at the festival. Everyone could evaluate the taste and quality of honey and give their assessment.

A honey fair was organized at the event, where a large number of bee products were exhibited - different types of honey (buckwheat, flower, linden), bee bread, propolis, various medicinal tinctures, preparations obtained by processing bee products.

Interesting contests and competitions were prepared for beekeepers and guests. Cultural workers prepared an interesting choreographic performance with the participation of children for the opening of the festival, and also organized entertaining master classes.

All speakers noted the importance of this event in popularizing and advertising bee products, which contribute to the development of beekeeping in the regions and the republic. They especially noted beekeeper Danil Yarullin, who received 20 tons of honey from his apiary this year.

“In 2024, the Republic took 3rd place among Russian regions in terms of commercial honey production after Altai Krai and the Republic of Bashkortostan with an indicator of 3.7 thousand tons,” noted Dinard Gataullin.
