Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Oksana Lut visited the largest industry forum "Russian Field", which is taking place on the 2nd day in the Agrobiotechnopark of Kazan State Agrarian University. She was accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov. The excursion program was conducted by Acting Rector of Kazan State Agrarian University Ilshat Nuriyev.
During the visit, the minister personally communicated with the heads of the university's agroclasses and students who are successfully implementing new approaches in training future agricultural specialists. Oksana Lut listened attentively to the report on the work of the agrotechnological classes equipped with modern equipment from the Fort-Dialog company.
The Minister was interested in the startups of students and postgraduates, as well as the scientific achievements of scientists from Kazan State Agrarian University, demonstrating the potential of domestic developments. She emphasized the importance of buckwheat as one of the priority areas for the development of agriculture, noting the prospects for increasing its production.
A solemn moment was the meeting with the winners of the AgroNTRI-2025 competition: Oksana Lut took a photo with them, thereby confirming her support for talented students and researchers. Involving students in scientific activities in the agro-industrial complex corresponds to the goals and objectives of the federal project "Personnel in the Agro-Industrial Complex" of the national project "Technological Support for Food Security".
Oksana Lut also inspected the exhibition exposition of leading manufacturers of agricultural products and equipment, including such companies as Shchelkovo-Agrokhim, RUSEED, AgroTerra and other forum participants. Particular attention was drawn to the presented samples of seed materials and experimental fields located on the territory of the Agrobiotechnopark.
The results of the meeting confirmed the high level of interaction between the state and universities in matters of training professionals for the country's agriculture. Such visits help support the development of the agricultural sector and contribute to the formation of sustainable human resources for the future of the domestic agro-industrial complex.
