A new potato processing plant has opened in the Chistopol district
Today, the Chistopol municipal district and the production facilities located here, owned by JSC Holding Company Chistopolye, were visited by the Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Oksana Lut, Rais of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov.

The first facility was the potato storage facility of Chisto Fri LLC in the village of Aleksandrovka.
The vegetable storage facilities were built using modern technologies and allow not only to significantly increase the volume of stored products, but also to provide optimal conditions for their preservation. A sorting shop has also been put into operation here. The plans include further expansion of vegetable storage capacity.
Then Rais of Tatarstan and the head of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia visited a residential complex in the village of Aleksandrovka - 11 houses for families of employees of the Chistopolskaya agrofirm were built within the framework of the state program "Integrated Development of Rural Territories". The settlement in the residential complex took place in March of this year.
During the inspection of residential buildings, Rustam Minnikhanov, Oksana Lut and Marat Zyabbarov visited and talked with members of one of the families. The implementation of such projects is one of the key tools for the development of the industrial potential of agricultural regions, and most importantly - for securing people in the countryside.
Then the grand opening of the potato processing and canning plant OOO "Chisto Fri" in the Chistopolsky district of Tatarstan took place.
The plant is located in the advanced development area "Chistopol", the necessary utilities and proximity to potato fields are provided.
The enterprise belongs to JSC Holding Company Chistopole - one of the largest producers of potatoes, including varieties for the production of French fries and chips. Previously, potatoes were sent for processing to other plants and sold at retail.
The new enterprise will allow the holding to implement the first stage of the project for processing and preserving potatoes with a planned processing volume of 40,000 tons of potatoes per year, which corresponds to the goals and objectives of the national project "Technological Support of Food Security".
The head of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia Oksana Lut, Rais of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of JSC Holding Company Chistopole Albert Khusnullin delivered welcoming speeches at the opening of the production of Chistopole LLC.
It was emphasized that the plant opening today is an economically significant facility in the food industry. Thus, the Minister of Agriculture of Russia Oksana Lut said in her welcoming speech that potato processing enterprises are very important for economic stability and vegetable growing.
“Today we have already looked at the new storage facilities, discussed how the enterprise works. This is growing products on irrigated lands, which is important and allows us to get a stable harvest and maintain the required quality of vegetables. The potato processing market grew by 10% last year, and, of course, the creation of such an enterprise in the Republic of Tatarstan is an important milestone. The region ranks second in Russia in potato production in all sectors, including in private farms. We will continue to support this direction. I am sure that new potato processing projects will appear in the near future. I wish the enterprise prosperity,” said Oksana Lut.
Rustam Minnikhanov said: "Today we have once again seen how systematically and strategically correct the work is in the Chistopolye holding."
Rustam Minnikhanov recalled that today, together with the head of the Russian Ministry of Agriculture, they had already visited the potato storage facility and sorting complex, and also looked at the new housing for the holding's employees.
"The Chistopolye holding is one of the most modern and innovative today in the field of crop production, and in the processing of agricultural products, and in terms of melioration," said Rustam Minnikhanov. - In all these areas, the Chistopolye holding shows positive results. I would like to wish you good work and assure you that all future projects will be supported by the leadership of the republic."
A symbolic key to the new enterprise was handed over to the Chairman of the Board of Directors of JSC Holding Company Chistopolye Albert Khusnullin.
In turn, Albert Khusnullin, on behalf of the entire holding company "Chistopolye", expressed words of gratitude for the support of both the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and the leadership of the Republic of Tatarstan. "Thank you for the support," he said. "Without your support, we would not have been able to develop at such a pace."
Let us recall that the new potato processing and canning plant OOO Chisto Fri was created in the shortest possible time using advanced technologies, the opening of the production is an important stage in the development of the entire agro-industrial complex of the republic and the Chistopolye holding company directly.
After the opening of the plant, a short presentation of the Chistopolye holding company took place. The holding company has created a high-quality infrastructure for storage and logistics. These are 5 of its own elevators, vegetable storage facilities for 42 thousand tons, and a large fleet of equipment. A lot of work is being done in terms of livestock farming: the holding company has 15 meat and dairy farms, there is also a poultry farm, and this year Chistopolye opened a sausage shop.
