Minister of Agriculture Marat Zyabbarov held working meetings at Tatarstan Research Institute of Agriculture and Rosselkhoztsentr
Today, a meeting between Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov and scientists from Tatarstan Research Institute of Agriculture took place at the experimental fields of Tatarstan Research Institute of Agriculture. Deputy Minister Dmitry Yashin and Head of Tatarstan Research Institute of Agriculture Aitugan Khaziev also took part in the event.
At the meeting, representatives of Tatarstan Research Institute of Agriculture spoke about new and promising varieties of spring wheat that best meet modern market requirements.
Tatarstan Research Institute of Agriculture is engaged in research activities in the field of selection and seed production of winter grains, spring grains, legumes, cereals, oilseeds, fruits and alfalfa. They are also responsible for the creation and biotechnological propagation of new potato varieties, diagnostics of potato phytopathogens and the development of feed additives.
Under the project "Soybeans in Tatarstan", the Minister examined the best early-ripening soybean varieties (out of 65 varieties), adapted to the conditions of the republic, the features of agricultural technologies (inoculants, plant protection products). Also under the project "Nitrogen" he got acquainted with a long-term testing ground for the use of modern types of nitrogen fertilizers on crops: spring wheat, rapeseed, corn, soybeans, potatoes.
Then Marat Zyabbarov inspected the experimental base and got acquainted with the progress of work on the preparation of original seeds of new varieties of selection of Tatar Research Institute of Agriculture. During the meeting, the participants discussed the features of seed production of soybean varieties "Artika", "Ava" and spring rapeseed "Yuldash".
At the end of the working visit, the Minister visited the entomophage production workshop and the updated biopreparations workshop at the Federal State Budgetary Institution "Rosselkhoztsentr" in the Republic of Tatarstan.
The head of the "Rosselkhoztsentr" branch Vitaly Novichkov said that the production department of the branch annually produces about 200 tons of liquid biopreparations and the range is represented by a full line of biological plant protection products.
The branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "Rosselkhoztsentr" in the Republic of Tatarstan provides services in the field of seed production and plant protection. The employees of "Rosselkhoztsentr" analyze the varietal and sowing qualities of sown seeds, inspect crops in each district of Tatarstan and identify harmful objects at the initial stages of development, and also carry out protective measures on an area of over 4.0 million hectares.
