17 July 2025, Thursday

The national National Agrarian Award "AgroLeader - 2025" has been established in Russia - a prestigious award with an expert and public jury, designed to recognize outstanding achievements and discover new names in the country's agro-industrial complex. The initiators and organizers of the project were the International School of Agribusiness and the SD Group Media Holding with the support of the State Duma Committee of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation on Agrarian Issues.

"The National Agrarian Award "AgroLeader" is being held for the first time and combines three award formats at once - expert, public and special," notes Sergey Profatilov, the organizer of the award. - The initiative has received broad support from leading industry associations. We are striving to create a mechanism that will highlight truly significant achievements in the agricultural sector. This award will be a landmark event, emphasizing that if you demonstrate a high level of business management, you will definitely be noted, people will talk about you." The goal of the national agricultural award "AgroLeader - 2025" is not only to recognize outstanding achievements in agriculture, best practices in crop production, livestock farming and related areas, but also to tell about the heroes who daily contribute to the development of all sectors of the agro-industrial complex in support of the national project "Technological Support of Food Security". The geography of the award covers all regions of Russia. Applications are open on the website http://agrolider.su/ until October 31, 2025. Participation is free. The expert council of the award included leading specialists in the agricultural sector, including representatives of the scientific community, government bodies, specialized associations and successful agricultural practitioners, including: the Union of Industrialists "Progress", JSC "Rosagroleasing", the Association "People's Farmer", the Russian Union of Rural Youth, the Dairy Union of Russia, the Association "Soyuzkrakhmal", the National Union of Breeders and Seed Growers (NSSIS), the Union of Organic Farming, ROSPiK, etc. Some nominations will find their winners for the first time through a public vote.

"It is important for us that our farmers feel that they are appreciated and respected," says Olga Mazanova, the organizer of the award. "The AgroLeader Award is an opportunity to surround them with attention, recognition and gratitude."

"Rural areas are currently going through an important stage: there is a growing interest in local production, import substitution, environmental friendliness, and the development of small farms. But the most important thing is that we understand that the village will not rise without strong people. The AgroLeader Award helps to highlight those who are already building the future of the village today - and shows society: rural life has not exhausted itself, it is alive, dynamic, promising," comments Yulia Vasilyevna Ogloblina, member of the presidium of the expert jury of the award, deputy chairperson of the State Duma Committee on Agrarian Issues, leader of the Russian Union of Rural Youth.

One of the main events of the award will be the "Village Anthem" competition, in which everyone can participate. For the first time, the agro-industrial complex will acquire its own voice, an anthem emphasizing the importance of rural life and work in agriculture, and, of course, the cultural traditions of the Russian village. The premiere will take place at the final award ceremony for the winners in January 2026. Within the framework of the Village Anthem, a separate nomination is also provided - an award for performers-participants of the SVO, as an assessment of the creative contribution of the defenders of our Motherland.

"This is a very touching and important step. Because the village is not only fields and livestock farming, it is, first of all, people, their traditions, the connection between generations," says Yulia Vasilyevna Ogloblina, jury member of the village anthem competition, deputy chairperson of the State Duma Committee on Agrarian Issues, leader of the Russian Union of Rural Youth. "The Village Anthem" is an attempt to give back the voice to rural areas, to remind them that they not only produce food, but also create culture, history, and spiritual space. This is a way to express love for the land, for our home yard, for what raised us." Join the "AgroLeader - 2025" award and become part of the community shaping the future of Russian agriculture!
