Today, the Ministry held a meeting on the issues of admission and attraction of rural school graduates to targeted training in educational institutions of higher education in the agricultural profile. It was attended by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov, First Deputy Minister Lenar Garipov and Acting Rector of the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education "Kazan State Agrarian University" Ilshat Nuriyev.

Kazan State Agrarian University is a leading higher education institution for training specialists in agronomy, veterinary science, forestry, biotechnology, animal science, ecology, robotics and automation, design and implementation of information systems in the agro-industrial complex.

Targeted training of students for the agricultural sector is an important tool that allows meeting the personnel needs of the industry and creating a stable connection between the university and employers. An applicant, studying on a targeted basis, enters into an agreement with an organization (customer), studies at a higher educational institution on a budgetary basis, receives support from the employer, and after graduating from the university is guaranteed employment in the selected enterprise.

Marat Zyabbarov emphasized that in the current conditions, issues of training personnel for the agro-industrial complex of the Republic of Tatarstan require special attention and a systematic approach. This is especially true for areas related to animal husbandry, given the status of the republic as one of the leading regions of the country in this area.

According to him, targeted training is an effective mechanism for providing districts with qualified specialists who are ready to return to work in specific organizations and farms.

“Formation of applications for targeted training is not a formality, but a necessary element of personnel planning that directly affects the sustainable development of the industry in the medium and long term,” the minister said.

Ilshat Nuriyev said that last year the university assumed obligations to ensure targeted student recruitment, 283 students across the entire Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education “Kazan State Agrarian University”.

“All conditions are created for those targeted students who are entering Kazan State Agrarian University today, including places in new and renovated dormitories and increased scholarships,” he noted.

To provide the industry with qualified specialists to form personnel sustainability of the agro-industrial complex in the Republic of Tatarstan, the federal project “Personnel in the AIC” of the national project “Technological Support of Food Security” is being implemented.
