The Ministry was visited by a delegation from the People's Republic of China
Today, a meeting with a delegation from the People's Republic of China was held at the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, chaired by First Deputy Minister Lenar Garipov. The meeting was also attended by Deputy Minister Rustem Gainullov and Head of the Department for Development of Agricultural Sectors Irek Sadykov.
The Chinese delegation included Huang Lianfang, Chen Liming, Dondok Tsyrendagbaev, Bair Damdinov.
Lenar Garipov presented the capabilities of the agro-industrial complex of the Republic of Tatarstan: "Among the subjects of the Russian Federation, Tatarstan ranks 1st in milk production, 2nd in potato harvesting, 6th in egg production, 8th in livestock and poultry for slaughter, 9th in sugar beet," he noted.
The First Deputy Minister also invited to visit the International Agro-Industrial Exhibition "Agrovolga - 2025" at the Kazan Expo IEC, which will be held in Kazan from July 9 to 11.
Rustem Gainullov spoke about effective solutions in the field of export, including logistics and supply routes, taking into account the current situation on the market and in the global economy.
The meeting participants discussed the possibilities of exporting leguminous and oilseed crops to the People's Republic of China from the Republic of Tatarstan.
The parties emphasized the importance of strengthening trade and economic relations in the agro-industrial complex and increasing trade turnover between Tatarstan and China, which corresponds to the objectives of the national project "Export".
