The Kazan Hippodrome hosted horse racing in honor of the Sabantuy holiday
Today, the Kazan Hippodrome hosted a large-scale equestrian festival dedicated to Sabantuy. The event was attended by the Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, State Advisor of the Republic Mintimer Shaimiev, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov.
An extensive entertainment program was organized for children with free master classes, a horse and pony riding area, tractor races and national competitions with prizes.
The interactive zones "Cybercavalry", "Pegasus Express", "Little Humpbacked Horse" and "Robo Races" allowed children to immerse themselves in the world of modern technology and folk tales. Thematic master classes, a city of professions, ponycycle races and a phygital zone with a racing car added even more vivid impressions.
A festival of the self-employed was launched for everyone, where more than 20 entrepreneurs presented exclusive jewelry, home decor, stylish leather and wood products, as well as original souvenirs.
As part of the equestrian festival dedicated to Sabantui, master classes in Kazan stitch, tambour embroidery and loom weaving were also held.
More than 14 prizes were raffled off among 140 horses from 17 regions of Russia.
The Cup in honor of the grain growers of the Republic of Tatarstan went to Sergei Sablin on a horse named Grumpy.
In the Tatar horse race for the Argamak prize, Ramin Tazetdinov on the horse Altyn R-T won at a distance of 2000 meters.
The winner of the Sabantuy-2025 cup was the horse Monica Pandora of Myrzabek Kappushev.
In the race for the prize of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, Magomed Kappushev won at a distance of 1800 meters on a horse named Big moon.
In the race for the prize in honor of rural workers, Airat Ishnazarov on the horse Vedomiy had no equal.
Timur Gafarov on the horse Lionel Bars came first to the finish line in the race for the prize of the Kazan City Hall.
The first place in the prize in memory of the honored zootechnician of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tatarstan, master rider Z.I. Khabibullin was taken by Reaktiv Lav with jockey Eduard Bolshakov.
Also, on the territory of the equestrian sports complex, in parallel with the races, there were performances by Tatar pop stars - Rayaz Fasyikhov, Vadim Zakharov, Zainab Farkhetdinova and Salavat Fatkhetdinov.
