The 47th competition of operators in artificial insemination of cattle was held in Tatarstan
Today, the 47th Republican competition of operators in artificial insemination of cattle was held in the Vysokogorsky district on the basis of JSC GPP "Elita". The opening ceremony was attended by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Gelyus Bayazitov, General Director of JSC GPP "Elita" Fannur Zaripov, students of agricultural universities and colleges. A total of 69 specialists from 43 districts of the republic took part in the competition.
Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Zyabbarov Marat Azatovich addressed the participants with a welcoming speech.
The basis of herd reproduction in animal husbandry is artificial insemination, as the most important method of increasing the genetic potential and qualitative improvement of animals. The republic has a good tradition of holding an annual competition of cattle reproduction technologists.
"The current 47th competition is held in memory of Mansur Gabdrakhmanovich Kharisov. He made a great contribution to the development of animal husbandry in the Republic of Tatarstan, the introduction of artificial insemination of animals, the improvement of selection and breeding work, the creation of highly productive herds of animals. He became the founder of embryo transplantation in the Republic of Tatarstan," said Marat Zyabbarov.
According to the minister, there are 503 herd reproduction operators in the republic. In 2024, 251.7 thousand calves were received, 347.5 thousand cows and heifers were inseminated, 331.5 thousand heads were artificially inseminated. Artificial insemination coverage is 95%.
The absolute champion of the 47th Republican competition of cattle reproduction operators was Aliya Romanova from OOO Agrofirma Serp i Molot of the Vysokogorsky municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The first place in the nomination "The youngest specialist" was taken by Anastasia Mikhailova from OOO Molko-Drozhzhanoye of the Drozhzhanovsky district.
The winner in the nomination "Veteran-technologist" was Favziya Bayazitova from OOO Agromir of the Yutazinsky district.
The first place in the nomination "Artificial insemination in agriculture" was taken by Lyudmila Gimadieva from AF Sarman, TF Leshev Tamak of the Sarmanovsky district.
The first place in the nomination "Artificial insemination in private farms" was taken by Lenar Shakirov Sizinsky SP of the Arsky district.
The first place in the nomination "For the practical use of the ultrasound machine" was taken by Lenar Shakirov from OOO "AK Ak Bars" of the Arsky district.
The winner among students was Svetlana Panzhukova (GAPOU "Buinsky Veterinary College"
