Today, a zonal seminar-meeting on increasing business activity of the rural population was held in Drozhzhanovsky municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan. It was attended by Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan Farid Mukhametshin, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov, as well as heads of Apastovsky, Buinsky, Verkhneuslonsky, Drozhzhanovsky, Zelenodolsky, Kaibitsky, Kamsko-Ustinsky and Tetyushsky municipal districts, heads of rural settlements, heads of the Departments of Agriculture and Food, heads of private household plots, peasant farms, cooperatives.

During the working visit, the participants of the seminar-meeting got acquainted with the activities of the feed center of OOO Tsilna, the fruit and berry farm Duvanovskie Sady and OOO AgroTransPort, and also viewed the exhibition of achievements of the agro-industrial complex in the district House of Culture.

In the new feed center of OOO Tsilna, on an area of ​​1000 sq. m, two feed mixers of 30 cubic meters each are installed. It has been operating since December last year and produces up to 150 tons of single-feed per day according to 6 recipes. All the necessary feed additives for creating a balanced diet are available. The farm grows grain, leguminous and industrial crops on a total area of ​​5386 hectares, and also develops dairy farming - the cattle population is 3322 heads, including 950 cows.

The fruit and berry farm of the Duvanovskie Sady cooperative has 241.5 hectares of perennial plantings, including 8.5 hectares of strawberries, 5 hectares of raspberries, 192 hectares of apple trees, and 35 hectares of currants. Last year, 236 tons of apples were harvested.

AgroTransPort LLC is developing horse breeding, poultry farming, beekeeping, and the company is also engaged in breeding cattle and small cattle and growing berry and fruit crops.

Then, during the plenary part of the zonal seminar-meeting, Farid Mukhametshin emphasized that foreign economic activity and expansion of agricultural exports are becoming increasingly relevant.

In 2024, the export volume amounted to 470.0 million dollars. Products were exported by 258 participants in foreign economic activity to 56 countries of the world.

"All these results became possible thanks to the intense and responsible work of our producers, small and medium businesses, rural workers, including thanks to federal support. Words of gratitude to the President of Russia Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin and the Government of the country for the timely measures taken," said Farid Mukhametshin.

According to Marat Zyabbarov, the pilot project "Avyl yashi - The Village Lives" has been extended to all municipal districts based on libraries. The project covers the population of rural areas and is aimed at professional orientation in agricultural activities.

The Minister said that this year the competition for the "Agrostartup" project is announced from June 5 with a deadline for accepting applications within 30 days. "During the visit to the municipal districts, the Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan received questions about the development of greenhouse vegetable growing and support for these purposes. The population of the Republic is fully provided with basic food products, but only 58% of the required amount of vegetables. The direction of greenhouse vegetable growing is available in the Agrostartup program, with the condition of a design capacity of at least 20 acres and the allocation of a grant of up to 3 million rubles. We ask you to prepare candidacies of farmers in this direction for the competition, ”said Marat Zyabbarov.

In order to strengthen the agro-industrial complex of Russia and achieve technological independence in the production of key food products, the national project “Technological Support for Food Security” is being implemented in the Republic of Tatarstan.

Also, within the framework of the seminar-meeting, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustem Gainullov took part in a round table on the topic: “Issues of Development of Rural Entrepreneurship”.

"A total of 1 billion 330 million rubles have been allocated to support small businesses in 6 areas with federal participation and 9 republican ones, which is 170 million more than last year due to an increase from the republican budget. The main items of republican support are the development of private subsidiary farms. The annual support of private subsidiary farms in the amount of half a billion rubles is unprecedented on a national scale," noted Rustem Gainullov.

At the end of the event, Farid Mukhametshin and Marat Zyabbarov awarded the winners of the annual republican competition in the following nominations: "Best Rural Settlement", "Best Private Subsidiary Farm", "Best Family Farm" and "Best Chairman of an Agricultural Cooperative".
