Today, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov and Director of the Department of Livestock and Breeding of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Sergey Voskresensky visited Arsky and Kaibitsky municipal districts, as well as the city of Kazan of the Republic of Tatarstan on a working visit.
During the practical part of the seminar-meeting on livestock and forage production in the Arsky district, Marat Zyabbarov and Sergey Voskresensky inspected an exhibition of equipment for the agro-industrial complex, compound feed, and veterinary drugs.
The participants of the zonal seminar-meeting were presented with the technology of feeding alfalfa crops and liming acidic soils before sowing perennial grasses, the use of ammonia water in forage production, top dressing perennial and grain crops with liquid fertilizers, as well as the specifics of the work of the republic's forage laboratories.
Then, during the working trip, they got acquainted with the activities of the dairy complex of OOO Severny. The construction of a dairy farm for 5960 heads of cattle of Severny, which is part of the Vamin group of companies, is planned to be completed in 2026 with the allocation of stage 1 for 5180 heads of cattle and stage 2 for 780 heads of cattle.
Then, in the Shushmabash rural House of Culture, during the theoretical part, Marat Zyabbarov noted that the effectiveness and benefits of this event will be felt throughout the year, since the quality of the prepared feed is directly related to the productivity of livestock.
According to Marat Zyabbarov, food security is more relevant today than ever. Tatarstan, as before, occupies a leading position in terms of milk production, but in terms of productivity per cow, the republic is in the second ten.
The Minister focused on federal measures of state support for construction and major repairs: "Federal measures are aimed at reimbursing the costs of building dairy complexes for 1,000 cows and more, as well as modernizing livestock farms and preferential investment lending. For our region, taking into account the growth of milk production and the presence of forage crops of at least 20%, we are allocated 42%," Marat Zyabbarov emphasized.
He said that the second week has already passed since the start of forage procurement and it is necessary to pay attention to the existing state support covering up to 30% of the costs of construction and installation work during the construction of silage and haylage trenches. "It is necessary to organize work to bring the trenches into compliance with established requirements and standards as soon as possible. When receiving subsidies for sold milk, there is an increasing coefficient to the rate for having a passport for a silage and haylage trench," the minister noted.
In conclusion of his speech, Marat Zyabbarov called for organizing weekly monitoring of the development of forage crops with regular laboratory tests for nutritional value. The key task is to prepare high-quality feed - the foundation of health and high productivity of animals.
Then, during a working visit to the Kaibitsky municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan, Marat Zyabbarov and Sergey Voskresensky visited the dairy complex of Avgust-Kaibitsy LLC for 3,700 heads of cows in the village of Ulyankovo.
The complex is planned to be put into operation in the 3rd quarter of this year and it will be the largest in the Volga region and eastern regions of Russia complex for loose housing of cattle with livestock placed in 2 large buildings (for cows and young animals separately) according to the principle of "all under one roof".
The Minister emphasized that the commissioning of this facility will be a significant step towards increasing the production indicators of the district.
