3 June 2025, Tuesday

The branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "AIC CSC" in the Republic of Tatarstan continues its work aimed at helping farmers prepare in advance for state grain monitoring. As experience shows, during the harvesting campaign, this allows for a prompt and reliable assessment of the quality of the harvested crop, as well as the correct entry of data into state information systems. Since the beginning of the year, representatives of the branch have already held 19 on-site meetings in 17 municipal districts of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Deputy Director of the branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "AIC CSC" in the Republic of Tatarstan Idris Gatin took part in a meeting in the Cheremshansky District, which was dedicated to discussing with agricultural producers the implementation of the plan for state grain monitoring for the 2025 harvest.

In his speech, the deputy director of the branch emphasized the importance of interaction and building effective mechanisms between all participants in the process for the joint implementation of the upcoming state monitoring campaign. In addition, Idris Gatin reminded of the need to notify the testing laboratory of the FSBI "CSC AIC" about the readiness of each batch of grain and call specialists to collect samples for further wheat research.

"This procedure is of a declarative nature, it is mandatory, the implementation of state grain monitoring is established by the Law of the Russian Federation No. 4973-1 "On Grain". The procedure for its implementation is regulated by the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 176 "On the implementation of state grain monitoring". At the same time, sampling, research of consumer properties of wheat and entering the results into the FGIS "Grain" are carried out free of charge," he said.

According to the deputy director of the branch of the CSC AIC, food wheat remains a key agricultural crop in the republic's agriculture (59.4%). In 2024, a total of 3.69 million tons of grain were harvested in Tatarstan, including 2.3 million tons of winter and spring wheat. In order to analyze its quality, specialists from the AIC CSC collected about 4.3 thousand samples during the harvesting campaign and conducted more than 85 thousand studies (with a plan of 71.7 thousand) as part of the state grain monitoring. This year, it is planned to cover 100 percent of the gross wheat harvest with studies.

"Timely and high-quality monitoring serves as a guarantee that economic entities will be able to create a high-quality seed fund that will help improve wheat productivity, in addition, there are requests for export of our products to foreign markets - countries of the Middle East, Africa, the Asia-Pacific region, for example, in particular to the People's Republic of China, and the branch of the AIC CSC assists farmers in expanding grain exports," said Idris Gatin.

Mutually beneficial relations strengthen partnership and correspond to the goals of the national project "International Cooperation and Export".

During the meeting, attention was also drawn to the importance of maintaining the phytosanitary condition of warehouses, elevators and transport before the start of harvesting and loading the new grain harvest into storage.
