Today, the Ministry held a working meeting with a delegation from Libya chaired by the First Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Lenar Garipov. The meeting was also attended by the head of the food market development department Valentin Spichkov.
The Libyan delegation was headed by Advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Government of Libya Mohammed Abdelsalam Mansour Azbaida. The delegation also included Advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs on Economic Issues Ahmed Omar Yousef Azabi and representatives of the GCB company Hani Walid Abdel-Rahman Abu Asfar, Ali Shibur and Arslan Servet.
Lenar Garipov presented the capabilities of the agro-industrial complex and spoke about the export potential of agricultural products of the Republic of Tatarstan.
During the meeting, the participants discussed the favorable investment climate of the republic and the possibilities of attracting funds for the implementation of investment projects.
Libya's exports include agricultural products, fur and leather, while its imports consist of agricultural machinery, equipment for the fuel and energy complex, the construction industry, consumer goods and agricultural products.
