The Tatarstan Ministry of Agriculture and Food signed a framework agreement on cooperation in the field of agriculture at the forum "Rostki: Russia and China"
Representatives of 70 regions of Russia and 27 provinces of China are taking part in the II International Forum "Rostki: Russia and China - Mutually Beneficial Cooperation" and the Russia China Expo exhibition. The forum is planned to sign 25 agreements in various areas of Russian-Chinese cooperation.
One of such agreements was signed on the first day of the forum between the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps.
The framework agreement on cooperation in the field of agriculture was signed by Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustem Gainullov and Head of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps Tian Yonghao.
The parties intend to develop cooperation in the field of cultivating tomatoes and high-quality soybeans, relying on advanced technologies and promoting demonstration projects of water-saving irrigation, as well as expanding the range of products of the agro-industrial complex in foreign trade operations.
Within the framework of the federal project "Export of agricultural products" of the national project "International cooperation and export", projects in the field of the agro-industrial complex are being implemented.
