Since September 14, traditional agricultural fairs have been held in the republic at 13 sites in the city of Kazan, 2 sites in Naberezhnye Chelny and Zelenodolsk district, 3 sites in Nizhnekamsk district and with varying frequency in municipal districts.
Today, the work of trading platforms in Kazan was assessed by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov. Together with First Deputy Minister Lenar Garipov, he inspected the shopping arcades on Leningradskaya and Karim Tinchurin streets.
At the fairs, it was traditionally possible to buy natural products from farmers, cooperatives and agricultural enterprises.
Charity tea tables for the elderly were organized at agricultural fairs.
According to the results of the past 5 fair weeks, agricultural products worth a total of 367.1 million rubles were sold, of which 3,130.3 tons of vegetables, including 2,124.9 tons of potatoes, 82.5 tons of bulk milk, 235.9 tons of sugar, 904.9 thousand chicken eggs, 346.8 tons of meat, including 201.0 tons of beef.
The fairs are scheduled to be held until December 29, 2024 (16 fair weeks).
