Today, the Ministry held a meeting with a delegation of the Russian-German Chamber of Commerce chaired by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov. The meeting was also attended by Chairman of the Board of the Russian-German Chamber of Commerce Matthias Schepp, General Director of Renus in Russia Olaf Metzger, General Director of Saria Alexey Vantsovich, General Director of Saria Bio-Industries Volga Sergey Shevtsov, Deputy Minister Gelyus Bayazitov, Head of the Main Veterinary Department of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan Almaz Khisamutdinov.
During the working meeting, the parties discussed promising areas for the development of agriculture and food policy in the Republic of Tatarstan, opportunities and areas for the development of German business in Russia and Tatarstan.
The participants also discussed the formats of interaction between investors and the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, opportunities for the sale of finished products, the opening of new markets for export and prospects for working with local meat processing plants. During the meeting, the participants, using the example of the company "Saria Bio-Industries", considered the work of companies with foreign capital in the Republic.
