The Republic of Tatarstan exported 64.4 thousand tons of grain crops
Today, 43 wagons with grain departed from the railway station of the Sviyazhsk-Zernoprodukt elevator complex. Three thousand tons of class 4 wheat of the 2024 harvest (protein 12.5%) will be exported to Turkey.
In 2023, the actual volume of agricultural exports at current prices amounted to 457.6 million US dollars, with an increase of 12.7 million US dollars compared to 2022.
As of the beginning of September 2024, the volume of exports reached 256.5 million US dollars, grain crops were exported to the countries of the Middle East and Transcaucasia, as well as to China, India, Iran and the countries of the Customs Union in the amount of 10.3 million US dollars (64.4 thousand tons). These are 56.8 thousand tons of barley, 3 thousand tons of wheat, 3.8 thousand tons of corn. Products of the oil and fat industry in the amount of 172.7 million US dollars in the amount of 241.7 thousand tons; meat and dairy products for 14.1 million US dollars in the amount of 7.1 thousand tons; products of the food and processing industry for 23.2 million US dollars in the amount of 25.5 thousand tons; other products of the agro-industrial complex for 36.1 million US dollars in the amount of 63.2 thousand tons.
Products of the agro-industrial complex are exported by 258 participants of foreign economic activity with the geography of deliveries to 52 countries of the world. The export potential of the Republic of Tatarstan is increasing due to the implementation of investment projects, including the national project "International Cooperation and Export".
