Today, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan held a meeting on the operation of small cattle slaughterhouses in the Republic of Tatarstan. It was attended by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov, Director of the Department of Livestock and Breeding of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Sergei Voskresensky, Advisor to the State Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Dmitry Vlasenko, Deputy Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Gelyus Bayazitov and other officials.
The meeting considered the prospects for the operation of slaughterhouses in the Republic of Tatarstan for the production of sheep meat. The participants exchanged experiences in the operation of small cattle slaughterhouses and discussed the prospects for the production of sheep meat, accounting and reporting on the livestock and production of sheep meat.
The Minister, summing up, spoke about the need to strengthen work on recording and reporting on the number and production of small cattle.
