Tatarstan is the Republic of Achievements
The project "Tatarstan — the Republic of Achievements" covers the scientific, technological and cultural potential of our country and is aimed at highlighting the achievements of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Tatarstan is traditionally among the regions that are the country's leaders in agricultural production. The republic ranks fifth in the top 10 Russian regions in terms of gross agricultural output and is the leader in this indicator in the Volga Federal District. Today, every fourth resident of the republic is connected with agriculture.
Agriculture in Tatarstan satisfies the needs of the population for basic food products. Thus, in 2022, for the first time in history, the republic achieved record milk yields, and the region's farmers grew 5.2 million tons of grain. A decent harvest of sugar beets, potatoes and vegetables was obtained. The republic is consistently among the top ten regions in the production of livestock and poultry, grain, eggs, and sugar beets.
