Tatarstan increases funding for seasonal field work
Since the beginning of 2024, Rosselkhozbank has allocated 14.6 billion rubles to support farmers in the Republic of Tatarstan, of which 12.6 billion rubles were issued on preferential terms. In particular, with the support of the bank, financing of 5 investment projects in the agro-industrial complex began this year.
The bank traditionally allocates the largest amount of support to seasonal field work. This year, the Tatarstan regional branch of Rosselkhozbank allocated 10.8 billion rubles for these purposes, increasing the amount of financing over the year by 12%.
In general, the branch's share in the regional market in the segment of preferential short-term lending for seasonal work is 58%, including 79% for loans to small farms.
Small businesses in the Republic of Tatarstan received support in the amount of 1.6 billion rubles this year.
"Now it is important to ensure food security for both the republic and the country as a whole. Rosselkhozbank, as a support bank in the agro-industrial complex, is aimed at solving this issue and provides comprehensive support to agricultural producers, from training in farming to the implementation of large investment projects," noted Lyalya Kudermetova, Director of the Tatarstan Regional Branch of Rosselkhozbank.
