Oksana Lut visited the largest milk processing plant in Tatarstan
Today, the Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Oksana Lut visited the Republic of Tatarstan on a working visit. As part of the visit, she inspected the Kazan Dairy Plant LLC. Oksana Lut is accompanied on the trip by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov.
Recall that the head of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation is in the region on a working visit and attended the active business program of the All-Russian Forum of Breeders and Seed Growers "Russian Field - 2024".
The Kazan Dairy Plant LLC, which is part of the leading Russian agricultural holding KOMOS GROUP, is the largest milk processing enterprise in the Republic of Tatarstan.
In order to improve production technologies, enhance product quality and expand the range of manufactured products, more than 11 billion rubles of investments were invested in Kazan Dairy Plant LLC.
During the implementation of the investment project "Reconstruction of the Kazan Dairy Plant" since 2017, two stages of reconstruction have been completed, and today the enterprise processes more than 650 tons of raw milk per day. The plant produces all types of dairy and fermented milk products under the brands "Selo Zelenoe", "Molochnaya Rechka", "Angelato", "Varvara Krasa", and others.
The third stage of reconstruction will begin in 2025 and it is planned to equip the Kazan Dairy Plant with new production lines in connection with the expansion of production assets. This will allow the enterprise to significantly increase the volume of milk processing. The total investment volume of the third period will amount to more than 5.4 billion rubles.
During the working visit, Oksana Lut and Marat Zyabbarov inspected the milk receiving department, the hardware and curd shops, the finished product packaging areas, the product packaging and fermentation areas, and the ultra-pasteurized product warehouse. They also visited the dairy and fermented milk products exhibition.
