Applications for the 2024 National Heritage Award are now open
The award is held in fulfillment of the President's message to the Federal Assembly that: "Old buildings, estates and churches are a visible embodiment of our national identity and the inextricable connection between generations."
The Heritage of the Nation is a unique event that covers the entire territory of Russia. It is held annually and is the highest form of recognition for professionals and organizations that, through their efforts, contribute to the development and preservation of the country's cultural and historical heritage.
The objectives of the award are: increasing social significance; developing innovation and creativity; supporting cultural heritage; creating a platform for exchanging experiences; drawing attention to regional local projects.
At present, it is more important than ever to evaluate the changes taking place in our country, when abandoned villages, temple architecture sites and estate complexes are being revived. People are combining efforts, resources and competencies to preserve the heritage. The Heritage of the Nation Award emphasizes the importance of these achievements by forming a national rating and promoting recognition of participants who change space, revive territories and cultural heritage, create a comfortable urban and rural environment, promote long-term development, care for the past and are responsible for the future.
The award is open to project authors, producers of works, patrons, investors, teams of organizers, experts, sponsors, volunteers, regions, material manufacturers, authors of engineering solutions, technologies, methods and other participants corresponding to the declared nominations.
