Irek Sadykov: "We have 1.3 million hectares to thresh"
In Tatarstan, 13 districts have begun harvesting grain crops. 22 thousand tons of grain have already been collected with an average yield of 35 c/ha. This was reported by the head of the department for the development of agricultural sectors of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan Irek Sadykov at a press conference in Tatar-inform.
"Sarmanovsky, Buinsky, Alekseevsky, Drozhzhanovsky, Alkeevsky and Muslyumovsky districts were among the first to begin harvesting grain crops," the speaker said.
In total, 1 million 332 thousand hectares of grain crops, 35 thousand hectares of corn, 482 thousand hectares of oilseeds need to be threshed. Sugar beet will need to be harvested from an area of 55 thousand hectares, potatoes - 4.3 thousand hectares, vegetables - 1.9 thousand hectares.
"Hot weather has set in in recent days, which accelerates the ripening of grain. Grain moisture content today is from 20 to 40%. However, there are some areas of the fields where the moisture content is 14%," Sadykov noted.
According to him, 3,366 combines will be involved in harvesting this year. Their technical potential allows them to thresh up to 60 thousand hectares per day.
"The load on one combine is not small - 460 hectares with a norm of 350 hectares per combine. This year, farms have purchased 50 new combines," the head of the ministry's department emphasized.
The equipment was inspected last week. The entire harvesting complex is well prepared in Aktanyshsky, Aznakaevsky, Atninsky, Buinsky, Baltasinsky, Vysokogorsky, Verkhneuslonsky, Drozhzhanovsky, Zainsky, Muslyumovsky, Novosheshminsky, Tetyushsky and Tyulyachinsky districts, the speaker noted.
"Today there are no interruptions in fuel and lubricants," he concluded.
Director of the branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "Grain Quality Assessment Center" in the Republic of Tatarstan Tatyana Menlikieva spoke about the first results of monitoring the new grain harvest in Tatarstan. At the moment, samples of grain grown in the fields of the Drozhzhanovsky district of the republic have undergone laboratory tests. Consumer properties of wheat batches turned out to be at a fairly high level - according to the test results, the bulk of the studied volume falls on class 3 wheat.
- The first notifications from agricultural producers have been received and we already have the first results of testing wheat harvested in the Drozhzhanovsky district. I can say that these results show that the grain meets the 3rd class. This is high-quality food grain, which is very pleasing, she noted.
