The preparation and holding of the international agro-industrial exhibition "Agrovolga" and the current situation in the agro-industrial complex of the Republic of Tatarstan were told to journalists today at a briefing at the Government House of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The briefing was traditionally held via video conferencing with all regions of the republic, and there was also a broadcast on the Internet.
As Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov stated, “a significant increase in bread prices is not expected in Tatarstan.”“We believe that there will not be any big increase. If you look at grain prices, they can’t be lower,” said the head of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan.
He clarified that in June prices for grain crops increased significantly. According to data as of June 28, the average purchase price excluding VAT for third-class wheat is 14 thousand rubles per ton, for fourth-class wheat - 12.5 thousand rubles, feed wheat - 9.7 thousand rubles, rye - 7.8 thousand rubles, feed barley – 9.6 thousand rubles.
“But bakeries have certain costs that increase. There is an increase in costs for flour, additives, raw materials, fuels and lubricants, electricity, gas. Due to this, bread prices increase,” noted Marat Zyabbarov.
According to him, government support measures are in place to stabilize bread prices. And the amount of subsidies to bakers to reimburse part of the costs associated with the production and sale of social types of bread has increased. Thus, the amount of reimbursement for part of the costs of selling 1 kg of social bread increased from 4.5 to 6 rubles.
“Thus, we regulate so that social types of bread increase in price minimally,” emphasized the head of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan.
During the briefing, journalists were informed that in 2024 more than 13.7 billion rubles will be allocated to support the agro-industrial complex in Tatarstan. “The leadership of Russia and Tatarstan pays great attention to agriculture. Despite budgetary restrictions, support for the village remained in full. We have allocated 13.7 billion rubles for the current year,” the minister said.
