The Ministry received a delegation from the Russian-Asian Union of Entrepreneurs and Industrialists of China
Today the Ministry held a meeting with the delegation of the Russian-Asian Union of Entrepreneurs and Industrialists (RAUIE). It was attended by the First Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Lenar Garipov, Vice-President of the Russian-Asian Union of Entrepreneurs and Industrialists, head of the RASPP representative office in Guangzhou Alexey Fedotov, Director for Economic Cooperation of the RASPP Representative Office in China Antonina Fedotova, heads of industry departments of the Ministry .
Lenar Garipov presented the capabilities of the agro-industrial complex of our republic and noted that Tatarstan is one of the promising regions of Russia and ranks 5th in terms of gross agricultural output.
“As for cooperation between China and the Republic of Tatarstan, the volume of exports to China last year amounted to $66 million. For five months of this year, this figure is more than 16 million dollars,” noted Lenar Garipov.
Next, the participants discussed possible areas of cooperation; the guests were interested in issues of providing seed material and processing agricultural products.
