A solemn ceremony was held to award the winners of the XII All-Russian competition of youth legislative initiatives “Parliament 2030”

On June 8, in the Small Hall of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan, the award ceremony of the XII All-Russian competition of youth legislative initiatives “Parliament-2030” took place. The competition brought together more than 3,000 active citizens of the Russian Federation. In total, more than 55,000 students from higher, professional and general education organizations from 75 constituent entities of the Russian Federation took part in the competition.

Representatives of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan, republican ministries, departments, the Kazan City Duma, educational organizations and partners took part in summing up the results of the XII All-Russian competition “Parliament 2030”, who announced the authors of the best bills and awarded valuable prizes in 8 thematic categories.

As the author of the idea of ​​the “Parliament 2030” competition, an expert of the Federation Council of the Russian Federation, candidate of legal sciences, Mikhail Vavilin, noted: “The Parliament 2030 competition has already become a brand of the Republic of Tatarstan as the capital of developed youth parliamentarism. The winners of the competition are in demand in the legislative bodies of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation. The number of project participants is growing every year, and the quality of the prepared initiatives is improving. The competition has become a social lift for young people. Its graduates serve in legislative bodies throughout the country.”

A wide range of scientific research aimed at developing education, science and innovation in Russian regions and municipalities was presented at the award ceremony.

The partners of the competition annually are the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Youth Parliament under the State Duma of the Russian Federation, the All-Russian public organization "Association of Lawyers of Russia", the Council of Rectors of Universities of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Youth Government of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Kazan (Volga Region) Federal University, the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Tatarstan, Ministry of Sports of the Republic of Tatarstan, Ministry of Youth Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan, National System for Supporting Talented Youth “INTEGRATION”, and many others.

The executive director of the project, Kamilya Ibatullina, noted that the competition was greatly supported by the Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan Farid Mukhametshin, the Secretary of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan Liliya Mavrina, the Chairman of the Committee of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan on Social Policy Svetlana Zakharova, the Deputy Chairman of the Council of Rectors of Universities of the Republic of Tatarstan Roza Akhmadieva, deputies of the State Duma of the Russian Federation from the Republic of Tatarstan Aidar Metshin, deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Labor, Social Policy and Veterans Affairs Yaroslav Nilov, as well as deputies of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan.

In his greeting to the participants in the award ceremony for the winners of the competition, Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan Farid Mukhametshin noted: “Over the past years, the All-Russian competition “Parliament 2030” has become in demand and has allowed us to unlock the potential of hundreds of talented young people from many regions of the country. By submitting proposals for improving legal regulation on a wide variety of topics for evaluation by the jury, you fully demonstrate your knowledge and abilities, acquire skills in design and legislative activity, and most importantly, cooperation and work in the interests of people. I am confident that the invaluable experience gained will open up new horizons for you, young leaders, that will help you achieve your goals for the benefit of the republic and the entire Fatherland.”
