The final zonal seminar-meeting on increasing business activity in rural areas was held in the Agryz district
Today, the final zonal seminar on the issues of increasing the business activity of the rural population, the development of small businesses and rural areas was held in the Agryz municipal district. It was attended by the heads of Aktanyshsky, Alekseevsky, Elabuga, Mendeleevsky, Menzelinsky, Nizhnekamsky, Sarmanovsky, Tukaevsky and Chistopolsky municipal districts, their deputies, heads of rural settlements, heads of the Departments of Agriculture and Food, heads of private household plots, peasant farms, and cooperatives.
Before the start of the plenary part, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov got acquainted with a number of facilities in the region. First of all, in the village of Kichketan, he got acquainted with the activities of the sheep farm of the Mullanurov peasant farm.
In 2014, Talgat Mullanurov bought 80 heads of bright lambs and 3 rams of the Tatar breed. Over the course of five years, he increased the breeding stock to 300 heads. Every year it sells up to 200 heads of lambs and rams for breeding to other peasant farms and private household plots.
The next object on the route was the personal farmstead of Roman Chernov. Today he has 12 heads of cattle, including 5 cows. Over the past 4 months, 7 tons of milk have been produced.
Next, Marat Zyabbarov visited the House-Museum named after Muhammadzhan Akhmetzhanov in the village of Izh-Bobya and together with the Chairman of the Committee on Ecology, Natural Resources, Agro-Industrial and Food Policy Azat Khamaev laid flowers at the eternal flame.
Before the meeting, the Minister got acquainted with the exhibition of agricultural products of the Agryz municipal district. In his report, Marat Zyabbarov spoke in detail about the development of small business forms in the context of the regions invited to the seminar.
“According to those present, the number of livestock decreased by 1,361 cows. The greatest losses were in the Aktanysh region - minus 360 heads. The Alekseevsky, Menzelinsky, Agryzsky districts have greatly reduced the number of animals. Dear colleagues, we need to strengthen control over working with our population, especially Agryz, where 50% of the gross agricultural output is created by personal subsidiary plots,” he noted.
State support for personal subsidiary plots this year will amount to 546 million rubles. The main direction is subsidies for the preservation of milking herds; 350 million rubles are paid annually from the republic’s budget for the maintenance of cows from 2 to 4 thousand rubles per head, with an addition of 300 rubles for veterinary care.
“Now the results for the 1st stage of selection have been summed up, subsidies worth 192.7 million rubles have been received, the support coverage of the cow population is 52%.
More than 60% of the funds were spent in the Menzelinsky, Alekseevsky, Mendeleevsky districts. There was only 13% in Sarmanovo, 17% in Chistopol,” the minister emphasized.
Some topical issues were discussed in the format of round tables held before the plenary meeting. In particular, the topics of development of rural entrepreneurship, sales of products and cooperation in rural areas, and integrated development of territories were raised.
The beautiful conclusion of the zonal seminar was the awarding of the winners of the annual republican competition of agricultural enterprises and farmers in the categories: “Best rural settlement”, “Best personal subsidiary plot”, “Best family farm”, “Best chairman of an agricultural cooperative”.
