The Ministry discussed the possibility of introducing “Lean Production” in agricultural enterprises

The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan held a meeting on the implementation of “Lean Production” in agricultural enterprises of the republic. It was conducted by Deputy Minister Rafael Fattakhov. The meeting was attended by scientists from the Kazan State Agrarian University, the Kazan State Academy of Veterinary Medicine, and the Tatar Institute for Retraining of Agribusiness Personnel.

During the discussion, a decision was made to consider the base of the Agrocomplex Ak Bars farm in the Arsky district as a pilot project. At the kick-off meeting, it was unanimously decided to schedule a meeting for May 29 to discuss the issue in more detail, with the invitation of practicing organizations.
