Today, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, chaired by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov, held a meeting on the issue of modernizing the State Information System of the Agro-Industrial Complex. The meeting was attended by First Deputy Minister Lenar Garipov, Deputy Ministers Rafael Fattakhov, Gelyus Bayazitov, Dmitry Yashin, Rustem Gainullov, General Director of JSC "RICC" Niyaz Khaliullin, as well as heads of departments of the ministry and representatives of industry enterprises.
At the meeting, issues were discussed to determine the key needs and goals of modernization of the State Information System of the Agro-Industrial Complex of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan. They also discussed the need to formulate functional requirements for modernizing the State Information System of the Agro-Industrial Complex of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan.
In his opening remarks, Marat Zyabbarov noted that the agro-industrial complex is the most important component of the economy of Tatarstan. A key factor in its development is digitalization. Today, a set of digitalization measures is being developed in the republic, affecting all areas of agriculture.
For automatic collection, storage and analysis of data, the State Information System of the Agro-Industrial Complex of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan (GIS AIC of the Ministry of Agriculture and Industry of the Republic of Tatarstan) was modernized in 2022.
GIS of the agro-industrial complex of the Ministry of Agriculture and Industry of the Republic of Tatarstan is a unified information platform for all participants of the agro-industrial complex, which combines digital, analytical and monitoring solutions. Today the system consists of 9 modules.
“In 2024, it is planned to modernize the GIS of the agro-industrial complex of the Ministry of Agriculture and Industry of the Republic of Tataristan, in connection with this it is necessary to prepare proposals for the development of this system. When making proposals, it is necessary to take into account integration with federal systems,” noted Marat Zyabbarov.
Niyaz Khaliullin in his speech briefly spoke about the main sections that already exist in the GIS system. This is a single platform for agricultural production; data collection module; end-to-end analytics; geographic information system; monitoring of agricultural lands; monitoring of unused lands; spray monitoring; liming monitoring; digital animal passport.
“Now we want to collect proposals for modernizing the GIS of the agro-industrial complex from the responsible person in each direction, in order to simplify work in the system,” he noted.
