In Tatarstan, over three days of the fairs, products worth more than 200 million rubles were sold
On March 16, traditional agricultural fairs began in the republic at 14 sites in the city of Kazan, 2 sites in Naberezhnye Chelny and the Zelenodolsk region, 3 sites in Nizhnekamsk and with varying frequency in municipal areas.
First Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Lenar Garipov inspected the work of fairs in Kazan on Batyrshin, Yamashev, Krasnokokshayskaya streets.
Following the results of 3 fair weeks, agricultural products were sold for a total amount of 211.9 million rubles, of which 312.5 tons of vegetables, including 166.7 tons of potatoes, 54.7 tons of bottled milk, 130.5 tons of sugar , 653.1 thousands chicken eggs, 277.3 tons of meat, including 140.5 tons of beef.
33 municipal districts and 2,340 transport units were involved in holding the fairs.
The fairs are scheduled to run until April 28, 2024.
