Rosselkhozbank helps car owners switch to natural gas motor fuel
The Tatarstan branch of Rosselkhozbank is participating in the implementation of a state project aimed at popularizing the use of natural gas in road transport, municipal and agricultural machinery.
To achieve this, the bank adapted loan products for participants in the gas motor fuel market. In particular, a special loan product is available for car owners who want to install gas equipment.
Funds can be used for the purchase and installation of gas equipment, including components for its installation, for vehicles/agricultural equipment using gas engine fuel.
Natural gas (methane) is one of the cleanest types of automobile fuel. The use of gas-cylinder equipment allows car owners to reduce the cost of purchasing fuel, as well as reduce emissions into the air, thereby improving the environmental situation. Converting vehicles to methane pays for itself within six months of operation (with a mileage of at least 30,000 km). Thus, the use of natural gas (methane) as a motor fuel is not a potential benefit tomorrow, but a real and affordable opportunity to economize now.
The Republic of Tatarstan occupies one of the leading positions in the development of the gas motor fuel market. Currently, about 14,000 methane-powered vehicles are in operation in the republic. The total volume of consumption of compressed natural gas as motor fuel in 2023 amounted to 65.71 million cubic meters.
