The X Plenum of the Tatarstan Republican Organization of the Trade Union of Workers of the Agro-Industrial Complex of the Russian Federation took place. A number of important issues was considered on the agenda, including a report on the activities of the Republican Trade Union Committee for 2023, the tasks of trade union bodies for the organizational and personnel strengthening of Trade Union organizations, and the execution of the trade union budget for 2023.
Opening the work of the Plenum, the Chairman of the Tatarstan Republican Organization of the Trade Union of Workers of the Agro-Industrial Complex of the Russian Federation Farida Garifullina focused on one of the urgent tasks - the organizational strengthening of the Trade Union. Outlining a vector of action for the near future, I set the task of developing practical measures to increase the number of members, create primary trade union organizations and restore previously existing ones, for these purposes making the most of the reporting and election campaign, which takes place in 2024-2025.
Bulat Garifullin noted the successful collective agreement campaign in most primary trade union organizations. In his speech, he outlined the positive dynamics of wage growth for industry workers. According to Rosstat, in 2023, the average monthly salary in agricultural production in the Republic of Tatarstan without auxiliary production was 44,096 rubles with a growth rate of 17.5% compared to 2022. In the food and processing industry in 2023, the average salary was 54,477.3 rubles with a growth rate of 27.3%.
As part of the Plenum, speeches were heard from the Chairman of the primary trade union organization VNIVI Ekaterina Pankova on the principles of interaction with the employer, trade union members in the institution, on participation in the All-Russian Meeting of Chairmen of Primary Trade Union Organizations, which was held in February in Moscow, and Tatyana Vasilyeva - Deputy Chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions Republic of Tatarstan. She summed up the activities of the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Tatarstan for 2023. Tatyana Yuryevna highly appreciated the activities of the Republican Committee of the Trade Union of Workers of the Agro-Industrial Complex of the Russian Federation in protecting the rights and social guarantees of workers.
Farida Garifullina recalled that it is planned to hold a Reporting and Election Conference of the Republican Trade Union organization in April 2025. At the Plenum, the Resolution on the standard of representation of delegates from structural organizations of the Trade Union was adopted. At the end of the meeting, the best were awarded based on the results of trade union activities.
