The 35th anniversary congress of the Association of Peasant Farms and Agricultural Cooperatives (AKKOR) took place in Moscow. Farmers make a significant contribution to ensuring food security in Russia, including the Republic of Tatarstan. The event helped to discuss the most important aspects of farmers’ activities, including support needs.

Small forms of economic management in the republic in 2023 produced products worth 128 billion rubles, or 44.3% of the republican volumes of agricultural products. Despite the difficult year, we managed to maintain the number of cattle on household farms. This became possible thanks to government and bank financial support for farmers. Rosselkhozbank played a huge role in the development of farms, which financed most of the projects of small businesses and provided support in the sale of farm products.

Rosselkhozbank aims to increase the quality and healthy products produced by farms, therefore it provides comprehensive support to small businesses. Today the bank helps farmers go through the full cycle of production development, from training to product sales. All business opportunities are collected on one platform - the Svoe ecosystem, where today more than 40 agricultural services are represented.

In 2023, Rosselkhozbank provided 5.5 billion rubles to small businesses in Tatarstan, which is 2 times more than in the previous year. Of the total volume of distributions, 4.2 billion rubles were allocated for seasonal work.

In addition to financial support, the Russian Agricultural Bank helps farmers promote their products via the Internet using the Svoe Rodnoe marketplace and at the Tasty Friday mini-fairs. In Tatarstan, 65 “Tasty Fridays” took place in 2023.
