Today, a solemn celebration of the winners of the “Esh Batyrs – Il Batyrs” competition took place at the Palace of Farmers. There are 15 winners from various municipal districts of the republic.
This competition was announced on April 1 last year by the children's magazine "Sabantuy" together with the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The competition was held in two categories. According to its conditions, students had to write an essay, a poem about the labor exploits of the villagers, and shoot a video. About 40 works from all over our republic were submitted to the competition. The geography of participants is extensive: from Aktanyshsky, Aznakaevsky, Arsky, Kukmorsky, Baltasinsky, Drozhzhanovsky, Agryzsky, Aznakayevsky, Naberezhnye Chelny, Elabuga, Sabinsky, Zelenodolsky districts to Kazan.
Upon arrival at the Ministry, the winners got acquainted with the Museum of Agricultural History. Museum director Nail Sabirov told the children about the stages of formation of the modern agro-industrial complex of the republic.
Next, the awards ceremony took place. As Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marcel Makhmutov noted, agriculture is a dynamically developing sector of our republic.
“It is thanks to the difficult but very responsible work of the villagers that we always have bread, milk, and vegetables on our tables. Perhaps among you there will also be those who want to connect their lives with agriculture. “I sincerely congratulate you and wish each of you further victories,” he addressed the children.
Based on the results of the competition, three winners were determined in each category. Also, in honor of the 100th anniversary of the Sabantuy magazine, two guys received incentive prizes.
