Today, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov visited the Agryz municipal district. There he was accompanied by the head of the district, Lenar Nurgayanov.
Before the meeting, Marat Zyabbarov visited the village history museum Izh-Bobya, where they got acquainted with the rich heritage of the region, also discussed investment projects as part of the development of rural areas.
Next, they inspected the locomotive repair shops at Loco-Tech LLC and visited the recently built new block-modular boiler house on Chapaeva Street. The last point was a tour of the exhibition of products from enterprises in the Agryz region.
At a meeting of the Council of the Agryz municipal district “On the results of the socio-economic development of the Agryz municipal district for 2023 and tasks for 2024,” Marat Zyabbarov noted that the Agryz district is considered one of the steadily developing municipalities of the republic.
“According to preliminary estimates, for 2023 in the region the volume of gross territorial product amounted to 9.3 billion rubles, agricultural products were produced for 1.4 billion rubles, industrial products for 5.2 billion rubles, 8.7 thousand square meters of housing were built. A significant contribution to the economy of the municipality and the republic as a whole is made by such enterprises as the Agryz meat processing plant, Agryz Raipo, and Navruz LLC,” the minister noted.
The region ranks 42 among the regions of the republic agro-industrial complex. In 2023, the district produced agricultural products worth more than 1.4 billion rubles, the region’s grain growers threshed 49.8 thousand tons of grain, livestock farmers produced more than 17.1 thousand tons of milk and raised 1.9 thousand livestock and poultry.
Based on the results of 2023, the Agryz district is in 29th place in the republican ranking for the production of conventional livestock products. Today, the daily milk yield in this area is 50 tons.
“Milk is a source of daily income for farms. Product prices have stabilized and become attractive to manufacturers. Here we need to adopt the experience of the leading districts,” Marat Zyabbarov noted.
The average salary in the agro-industrial complex of the region at the end of the year was 31.5 thousand rubles. Over the past year they have had good dynamics.
In terms of the development of small businesses in 2023, the region ranks 34th among the regions of the republic. The district leadership, as well as heads of settlements, need to:
- continue work to stimulate business activity in rural areas;
- develop a comprehensive action plan for the further development of the agricultural sector;
- make proposals for state support for promising projects of the district in the agricultural sector within the framework of existing programs.
