65 “Tasty Fridays” were organized in Tatarstan
Rosselkhozbank held 65 “Tasty Fridays” in Tatarstan in 2023. The goal of the bank’s federal project is to provide regional residents with the opportunity to purchase fresh farm products directly from the manufacturer, and for farmers to expand their customer base. The products of all event participants from Tatarstan and other regions of the country are presented on the digital platform of the RSHB Svoe Rodnoe.
The bank organizes and conducts “Tasty Fridays” on a regular basis, 1-2 times a week. Last year, on-site events took place in regional ministries and departments, social service organizations, municipal unitary and industrial enterprises, and commercial companies.
Participation in mini-fairs helped farmers of the republic not only sell their products without additional investments, but also present them to hundreds of people at the largest companies in Tatarstan. Each visitor to “Tasty Fridays” could taste the products before purchasing, and users of the Svoe Rodnoe app made pre-orders with free delivery, which is convenient and beneficial for both the buyer and the farmer. Farmers from the Kukmorsky, Alekseevsky, Sabinsky, and Tukaevsky districts actively sell their products on the bank’s platform.
Today, peasant farms are the fastest growing segment of agricultural producers, which produces a significant share of Tatarstan’s agro-industrial complex products. In order to provide support to this category of agricultural producers, various support measures are being implemented at all levels (federal and regional). To further successfully develop this segment and increase the profitability of products, Rosselkhozbank provides assistance to farmers in promoting their products and offers alternative sales channels. For this purpose, the Svoe Rodnoe marketplace was created and the “Tasty Friday” promotion was launched. Both projects help introduce residents to farm products and develop online sales of agricultural products.
