Rustam Minnikhanov visited the new pasta factory of Tatpotrebsoyuz in Kazan
Rais of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, together with Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov, visited the pasta factory of the Kazan Production Plant of Tatarstan.
Production started in January of this year. The factory will produce up to 5 tons of pasta daily. The first batch has already been delivered to the Northern Military District soldiers.
Rustam Minnikhanov inspected the production lines of the enterprise and got acquainted with the range of products.
The new production will fully meet the needs of the Tatpotrebsoyuz for pasta. Every year, district cooperatives, cooperatives and consumer cooperation stores are ready to purchase about 800 tons of products. Another 700 tons will be supplied to the republic’s retail chains.
Rais of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov assessed the importance of consumer cooperation for the life of the rural population of the republic.
“We attended a meeting of the Tatpotrebsoyuz. Tatpotrebsoyuz performs a social function, providing goods to rural residents. I myself worked in the consumer cooperation system, I understand the importance of this work,” added the head of the republic.
