At the end of 2023, ZMK retained its leadership in milk processing in Tatarstan
The plant took first place - the corresponding rating was prepared by the Tatmolsoyuz.
Zelenodolsk Dairy Processing Plant once again topped the rating of the largest milk processors in Tatarstan. The rating was presented by the Tatmolsoyuz during a round table on the topic “Development of the Russian dairy industry: results of 2023 and forecast for 2024” at the VI specialized agricultural exhibition of achievements of the agro-industrial complex “TatAgroExpo”. It was held at the end of January at the Kazan Expo international exhibition complex, with the participation of the General Director of the National Union of Milk Producers of Russia Artem Belov and the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov.
The head of the Republican Union of Milk Producers, Denis Pirogov, presented the ratings of milk producers and processors based on the results of last year. The speaker noted that Tatmolsoyuz was developing ratings together with the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan based on statistical data.
JSC ZMK scored the highest number of points - 785. This is 131 points more than the company that took second place. Estimates for each enterprise were calculated by multiplying the average daily volume of milk processing by a coefficient tied to the size of the purchase price for raw milk.
In 2023, the plant for the first time entered the top ten of the TOP 100 largest milk processors in Russia rating. It was prepared by the Dairy Intelligence Agency (DIA) and the DairyNews news agency. ZMK ranked 10th and became the only Tatarstan processor included in the TOP 10 of this rating. Another 6 enterprises of Tatarstan also became its participants.
