Rosselkhozbank issued 25 billion rubles to farmers of the Republic of Tatarstan in 2023. This is 10% higher than the result of the previous year, while 64% of the funds were provided on preferential terms favorable for the development of agriculture.
The largest amount of funding – 15 billion rubles – was provided to large companies in the region. Clients of small and medium-sized businesses received 9 billion rubles from Rosselkhozbank in 2023. Microbusinesses also actively attracted borrowed funds - 1 billion rubles.
Seasonal work has traditionally occupied an important place in the structure of financial support. In Tatarstan, 16 billion rubles have been allocated for these purposes, of which 65% are under preferential programs.
“In the new year, we will continue to support the agricultural industry, using government support mechanisms and the bank’s own programs aimed at the effective development of the industry and regional business,” noted Lyalya Kudermetova, director of the Tatarstan regional branch of Rosselkhozbank.
In general, Russian farmers received more than 1.6 trillion rubles from the Russian Agricultural Bank, which is a record figure for the annual period, including 786.1 billion rubles for seasonal work.
