On September 9, traditional agricultural fairs began in the republic at 14 sites in the city of Kazan, 2 sites in Naberezhnye Chelny and the Zelenodolsk region, 3 sites in Nizhnekamsk and with varying frequency in 26 municipal districts.
As a result of 15 fairs, agricultural products were sold for a total amount of 1,151.4 million rubles, of which 8,340.0 tons of vegetables, including 5,043.3 tons of potatoes, 240.5 tons of bottled milk, 735.2 tons of sugar, 1,240.7 tons of meat, including 680.9 tons of beef.
35 municipal districts and 13,854 units of transport were involved in holding the fairs.
At the Belomorskaya-Gudovantseva site, the day of the fair was postponed - over two Sundays, they sold 2.5 million rubles more goods than on Saturdays.
The next agricultural fairs will be held in spring 2024.
