Today, a meeting was held at the Ministry of Agriculture and Food with the Consul General of the Kyrgyz Republic Eric Beishembiev. The working meeting was chaired by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov. Deputy ministers and heads of departments also took part in it.
Marat Zyabbarov presented the capabilities of the agro-industrial complex of Tatarstan. He noted that Tatarstan is one of the most promising regions of Russia and ranks 5th in terms of gross agricultural output. Among Russian regions, according to preliminary results, the republic ranks: 1st place in milk production, 2nd place in potato production, 8th place in production of livestock meat and poultry for slaughter, 9th place in egg production.
And in this difficult year, more than 3.5 million tons of grain, 1.7 million tons of sugar beets, 790 thousand tons of potatoes and 250 thousand tons of vegetables were collected. These results will make it possible to fully provide the population with food.
The meeting participants discussed current issues related to the digitalization of the agro-industrial complex of Tatarstan. Eric Beishembiev thanked for the warm welcome and praised the Republic of Tatarstan for its achievements in the development of digitalization of the agro-industrial complex.
In conclusion, Marat Zyabbarov invited the Consul General of the Kyrgyz Republic to the upcoming TatAgroExpo exhibition, which will be held on January 29-31, 2024.
