With a rural mortgage, you can also build a house on your own land using an accredited contractor or purchase a land plot and then build a residential building on it.
Starting this year, funds can be used to purchase an apartment in a new building or at the construction stage in a building of up to 5 floors, located in a supporting settlement. At the moment, apartments in Tatarstan can be purchased in Buinsk and Arsk.
“Rural mortgage is one of the most popular programs in the mortgage lending market at Rosselkhozbank, and Tatarstan is traditionally one of the three leading regions in the implementation of this program. This year, increased demand was recorded for rural mortgages, since the maximum mortgage amount was doubled: from 3 to 6 million rubles per borrower. If a married couple takes out a mortgage, then the total loan amount can reach 12 million rubles. This significantly expands people’s options for choosing a home to buy or build,” said Lyalya Kudermetova, director of the Tatarstan regional branch of Rosselkhozbank.
Rural mortgages are implemented as part of the “Integrated Development of Rural Territories” program. The conditions for obtaining a rural mortgage are that the potential borrower must be 21 years old, as well as permanent or temporary registration in the Russian Federation. The minimum loan size is 100 thousand rubles with a down payment of 20%, it is issued for a maximum of 25 years.
