You can vote for the agricultural sector of the republic on the website. The Republic of Tatarstan is an advanced agricultural region of Russia.

In 2022, for the first time in the history of the Republic of Tatarstan, we reached the new volume - over 2 million tons of milk. The region's farmers have grown 5.2 million tons of bread. A decent harvest of sugar beets, potatoes and vegetables was obtained.

The Republic ranks first among the constituent entities of the Russian Federation in milk production, second in potatoes, and is consistently among the top ten regions in the production of livestock and poultry meat, grain, eggs, and sugar beets.

On October 8, all agricultural workers celebrated their professional holiday. Agricultural fairs are held on a regular basis on weekends in Tatarstan. Since the beginning of September, Tatarstan farmers have sold agricultural products for a total amount of 312.2 million rubles. As a result of four fairs, farmers sold 3169.1 tons of vegetables, 2221.5 tons of potatoes, 57 tons of sugar, 239.9 tons of meat and 61.3 tons of milk.

“It is through the efforts of all those who work in the field and on farms, in food production and in specialized scientific institutes that domestic agriculture and the food industry have changed qualitatively and have become real locomotives of the country’s economy,” Russian President Vladimir Putin previously noted.

On November 4, 2023, the largest International Exhibition and Forum “Russia” will open in Moscow at VDNKh, where each region of the country will present its own stand, and exhibition participants will also have the opportunity to take part in the Day of Regions.
