This week, as part of the development of a strategy for the development of the agro-industrial complex of the Republic of Tatarstan until 2030, strategic sessions were held. They were organized by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan together with the Kazan State Agrarian University and the FBK-Consulting company. They were attended by representatives of business, science, professional communities, large holdings and farmers, and trade unions.
In a brainstorming format, participants discussed the target vision for the development of the agro-industrial complex until 2030, priority directions for the development of industries, the necessary tools to achieve goals, including government support measures, and new projects. During the work, the session participants in groups shared their plans, vision regarding their development and the agro-industrial complex of the republic as a whole. Thus, the opinions and wishes of representatives of various categories were collected: from farmers to managers of large holdings and the Ministry of Agriculture and Food. In total, about 65 people took part in the sessions.
Based on the results of the strategic session, it is planned to prepare a new strategy for the development of the agro-industrial complex in the Republic of Tatarstan with development scenarios and specialized programs.
