For contribution to biologization: the Ministry rewarded farms using biological products
Today, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan held an award ceremony for agricultural enterprises for the introduction of safe plant protection products when growing entomophilous crops in the Republic of Tatarstan. First Deputy Minister Lenar Garipov, Deputy Minister Dmitry Yashin and Gelyus Bayazitov took part in the award ceremony.
The Republic of Tatarstan is one of the leaders in Russia in growing oilseeds. The areas of rapeseed, sunflower and mustard are expanding every year. At the same time, most of the means used to protect these crops pose a serious threat to the environment and cause the death of bees.
“The Ministry of Agriculture and supervisory authorities have done a lot of work to prevent such situations. Meetings are held annually in the Ministry and in the districts. Last year, a unique training on the introduction of safe technologies was conducted in the Kukmorsky district. I would especially like to note the Arsky and Aktanysh districts, where the largest number of farms have switched to safe technologies,” noted Lenar Garipov.
In terms of volumes of use of such preparations, the leader is Ak Bars Pestretsy - over 3 thousand hectares of oilseeds were processed this year. We hope that this experience will be extended to the rest of the holding’s farms.
The future, of course, lies in safe technologies, because we are talking not only about the safety of bees, but also about providing high-quality food for the population and preserving the fertility of the earth for future generations.
