The Republican fair-exhibition “City of Masters” was held in Kazan
On September 16, on the basis of the Kazan Agro-Industrial Park, the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan, with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, JSC Agro-Industrial Park Kazan and the Non-Profit Partnership “Board of Directors of Educational Institutions of Secondary Vocational Education of the Republic of Tatarstan” held the Republican Fair-Exhibition of Agricultural Products and products of technical creativity “City of Masters” 2023 with the participation of municipal districts and educational organizations of Tatarstan. She was visited by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov and the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan Ilsur Khadiullin.
At the fair, the following range of products was presented to the citizens at affordable prices: baked goods, grain crops, wood products, arts and crafts products, metal products, canned goods, fruits and vegetables, honey, dairy products, garments, eggs, etc.
Volunteer groups were brought in to help citizens purchase products.
In addition, visitors to the fair were able to see the crafts of young architects, carpenters, blacksmiths, forging masters, as well as creative performances prepared by students and creative teams of the municipal districts of the republic.
On September 9, traditional agricultural fairs began in the republic at 14 sites in the city of Kazan, 2 sites in Naberezhnye Chelny and the Zelenodolsk region, 3 sites in Nizhnekamsk and with varying frequency in 26 municipal districts.
As a result of 2 fairs, agricultural products were sold for a total amount of 149.2 million rubles, of which 1121.4 tons of vegetables, including 795.1 tons of potatoes, 30.7 tons of bottled milk, 176.3 tons of meat, including 95.3 tons of beef.
35 municipal districts and 1,779 transport units were involved in holding the fairs. The fairs are scheduled until December 23, 2023 (16 fair days).
