Kazan State Academy of Veterinary Medicine named after N. E. Bauman celebrates its anniversary
Today at the Kazan State Academy of Veterinary Medicine named after. N. E. Bauman held a ceremonial meeting dedicated to its 150th anniversary.
It was attended by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov, Rector Rustam Ravilov, General Director of the Association "Agricultural Education" Viktor Berdyshev, Head of the Main Department of Veterinary Medicine of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan Almaz Khisamutdinov, heads of ministries and municipal authorities, representatives of agribusiness and the agro-industrial complex, heads of educational and scientific institutions, graduates, teachers, students and veterans.
More than 300 guests from Moscow, St. Petersburg and different regions of the Russian Federation came to congratulate the educational institution on this significant date. Before the meeting, the guests got acquainted with the educational buildings, examined the renovated auditoriums and classrooms.
“For 150 years now, the Kazan State Academy of Veterinary Medicine has been a forge of highly qualified personnel for the industry. You keep up with the times, introducing modern technologies into the educational process. Over the years of creative and fruitful work, tens of thousands of veterinarians, livestock specialists and other specialists in the agro-industrial complex have graduated from the academy. These specialists now work not only at enterprises of our republic, but also in different regions of the country and abroad,” Marat Zyabbarov noted in his greeting.
The activities of the educational institution are highly appreciated by the leadership of the Republic. Marat Zyabbarov noted that the Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Nurgalievich Minnikhanov, signed a Decree on awarding the Kazan State Academy of Veterinary Medicine with the Order of Merit for the Republic of Tatarstan.
Next, the ceremony of presenting state and departmental awards took place.
