A solemn assembly in honor of Knowledge Day took place at the Kazan State Agrarian University
Today, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Dmitry Yashin took part in the ceremonial ceremony of the Kazan Agrarian University. He congratulated students, teachers and their parents on the start of the new academic year and wished them success in their studies.
The event was also attended by the rector of the Kazan State Agrarian University Airat Valiev, the Minister of Youth Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan Rinat Sadykov, the director of the Tatarstan regional branch of Rosselkhozbank JSC Lyalya Kudermetova and other responsible persons.
Lyalya Kudermetova, director of the regional branch of Rosselkhozbank JSC, delivered a welcoming speech. She noted that agriculture is one of the flagships of the economy of the republic and the country, and Rosselkhozbank, as a leading bank in the agro-industrial sector, aims to train highly qualified personnel for the agro-industrial complex and implements a number of educational programs for students.
“The bank is implementing a scholarship program. Over the course of several years, we were able to financially support 28 students of Kazan State Agrarian University. This academic year, we have identified 5 of the most talented students and 1 graduate student who will receive a scholarship from the bank,” noted Lyalya Kudermetova.
As part of the solemn event, letters of gratitude and personalized certificates for scholarships were presented. During the celebration, first-year students were introduced to the heads of the university faculties, as well as they were presented with symbols of their faculty.
